yikes...dd was still hot this morning, and threw up once in the morning before I got her to the doctors and again in the car on the way there....YUCK... finally got in to see the doctor and he had such a hard time getting dd to let him look in those ears...well, thats what it was a raging infection in the left ear, and one working on the right....poor thing...:nurse: the nurse gave her a hit of Motrin while we were there and she fell asleep  in my arms as we were leaving....got a script for Amoxicillion, the chewable form, as I hate the liquid...I either spill it or it cowagulates in my fridge....YICK....:\ she is watching Dora now, and eating a popcycle....had to miss pre-k and wasn't too happy about that.....but she can go tommorrow, and thats that...who knew...the doctor said that sometimes vomiting is a sign of the infection....I just though it was because of the high fever...........well September is really here....all the kids were at the doctors office today........

at least now I know what it was and can treat her.....:tinysmile

Bless her heart!!
I didn't know that an ear infection could cause vomiting either. Did you ask your doc for the "miracle drops"? They numb the ear for a while so they can at least sleep for a while..some also have a little antibiotic in them.

no AnnW never heard of them.....she isn't in any pain now....but I will keep that in mind for next round.....she seems so much better after two doses of Anti biotics, can't wait till bedtime....seems like we are both walking zombies....

Poor little thing! Our youngest dd always vomited with an ear infection.

The drops annw was talking about are called "Auralgan". They numb the ear canal temporarily, long enough for them to fall asleep.
