Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ds has been going to preschool for awhile now, and although he cried at first, he stopped, but now out of the blue he has started again. It is breaking my heart! He is more clingy than ever. I have asked the daycare, if there has been any major differnces or if something has happened to him, they said no. But the head said that she to has noticed that the three days just seem to much for him all of a sudden. Is this just a momentary lapse? how can i help him re-adjust. We have talked about taking him out, but is really not an opption at the moment.?( ?( ?(

Wish I could help you, but I am pretty much in the same situation with my 4 1/2 yo ds. :\ I told him he starts preschool tomorrow and he started crying and begging me to not make him go. :bawling:

Did the teachers offer you any advice? We struggled with ds last year, too. I would write ds notes and put them in his pocket, let him take something little from home that he could keep in his pocket, made him a necklace with a picture of our family on it, etc. None of this worked for us, but maybe it would for you?? Feel like there was something else we did, but I can't remember. Hang in there and let me know how things go - sure pulls at the heartstrings, doesn't it? :(

Also, have you read the book The Kissing Hand? That was recommended to me and I need to go pull ours out so I can read it to ds tomorrow! Good luck!!

sorry your going through this...no gread advice, but wanted you to know I symphaize with you....my dd (4) tells me how she doens't miss me at all while she is a pre-K....ouch....

how about some hersey kisses in his back pack or a polorid photo of the two of you? good luck sweetie...

We had a bit less crying today, but still not much improvement. the afternoon girls said that they haven't noticed much a differnce, except that he want's extra cuddles, so thats atleast something. he sometimes takes one of his trucks to school but it dosn't make much of a diff. what are hersey kisses?? i am going to try the photo idea next week (today is the last day this week)

OMG!! You don't know what a hershey's kiss is?? And here I always wanted to go to Australia!!! :newwink: They are wonderful little bites (kisses) of milk chocolate.

And I just got to ask..what does "sooky" mean????
