I'm not sure about tonight, but last night I made meatball subs - probably not what you want since you had sloppy joes last night. Ann - I've gotta have the pasta primavera with shrimp recipe please! Also, what did you serve with it?

Donna, it was rather tasty if I say so myself.
I sautee'd a little garlic, onion, red& green pepper in a little bit of butter (spray parkay zero calories) and olive oil, then tossed in chopped zuchinni, squash, carrots, mushrooms and brocolli..sauteed till crisp. Then I added in chopped tomatoes (i like roma tomoatoes cause they are a little firmer) and simmered for about 5 minutes. Then added a little white wine and chicken broth just to cover and tossed in the shrimp and simmered for about 10/15 minutes till the shrimp was cooked. I served it over spaghetti.
This worked for us cause my kids just like plain buttered pasta, so I served them that and then just scooped out the veggies and served it on the side. They each had a little shrimp on the side also. (they don't like their foods mixed! LOL)
I served it with some sliced apples and a green salad.

Y'all are eating good... Can we just come over. Tonight is actually very busy. We have open house then swim lessons.

Perhaps .. grilled cheese????

I have been making a new side dish my dd and friend loves.

Diced apples with yogurt. I buy the custard (yumster's) kind.
I peel and dice the apples fairly small. Then mix in the yogurt. The apples don't turn and the kids love it. DH too!!

Keep the ideas coming!!

I know that there are more of you eating out there tonight?

What will it be??????

LOL...funny you should ask this, but dh loves Boca Burgers, they are meatless soy patties....he adores these, and to tell the truth, I have had a few myself, 99 percent fat free and they are kinda tasty....especially if your a vegetarian... so he will have those and we will have real meat....:biglaugh: is it dinner time yet? and can I get dh to cook the real meat? these are my questions....LOL..

I am going to let Brichard rummage through the refrigerator tonight, grilled cheese or pizza for the kids. I had MOPS this morning and just got home from my neighbors house that I went to right after MOPS. I am a slacker!!! I haven't been very hungry lately. We did have salmon earlier this week that was yummy!!
