Could anyone tell me what happened on ER last night? Anything good? I can't BELIEVE I missed it! For some reason I was thinking it was Wednesday and didn't bother turning the tv on... Ugh!!! TIA... :)

The big news was that Dr. Benton's wife was killed. So he had to sign to his deaf son that his mommy was asleep and never waking up. The death occurred at another hospital, but he went there to see her.

Dr. Green and his wife were arguing over the parental workload as the wife (sorry, don't watch the show much!) felt like she was carrying to large a load. She was leaking during surgery and having an all around bad day.

Carter ended up staying past his shift to help out. He was annoyed that he wasn't asked by Weaver to stay on as attending and asked her about it. She seemed kind of non-commital about it b/c they were looking for somebody with more experience.

It was pretty wild as they were understaffed and overworked,... but what is new on ER?

I don't normally watch the show b/c it depresses me!

Rofl Brichard - my dh is the same way! He refuses to watch ER because it's too depressing. Won't even be where he can hear it!

DARN... it sounds like I missed a good one! :( I'm going to have to remember what day it is next week so I don't forget it again. LOL Pretty bad when you can't remember what day it is. :)

I watched it, but missed part of the beginning. How did Dr. Benton's wife die?

She was in a car wreck with the son. Fortunately the son wasn't hurt, but she died from the injuries.

Thanks Brichard! I saw that the little boy was okay and couldn't figure out what caused her injury/death. Can't believe this is my first season of watching it!

It's a great show Karla... I'm sure before too long you'll be hooked on it about as much as I am too. LOL I don't usually watch a lot of tv but this is usually one show I always make it a point to watch. I can't BELIEVE I was so dumb and missed it! LOL

Karla and Peter were never married. She was married to the other guy, the one that was crying.

I never thought of it as a "depressing" show until you mentioned it... and then yesterday while I was listening to my radio station the DJ also mentioned how he avoids watching ER because it just depresses him so bad. LOL Thought it was kind of funny that it had never struck me as being depressing until now. :bigcry: :bigcry: Now hopefully I'll be able to continue to watch it without getting too depressed. :)
