So....... what's everyone got planned for their weekend? Anything fun/exciting? It's suppose to be very cold Saturday and Sunday with a chance of rain, so I'm not too sure how much we'll be doing outside besides mowing the lawns and putting the pool down for the winter. Dh and I have been invited to a halloween party that is in a few weeks so we have to go out and find some kind of a costume... I'm not too sure exactly what were looking for yet. Any idea's? LOL I've never been to an adult halloween party (always avoided them) but dh really wants to go to this one so I guess we'll be going. I don't know what to expect but I'm sure it will be a lot of fun. (I hope) :) Anyway, I hope you all have a great weekend... Take care.

Sounds like fun! I have always wanted to go as The Jolly Green Giant and Little Sprout cause of our height differences! LOL
This site might give you some ideas http://www.buycostumes.com/Category.asp?cat=AdultCostumes
I went to a fashion consultant luncheon today where they talked about fall trends and such. Have that orchestra party in an hour.
Tomorrow night we are going to our next door neighbors' 50th Wedding Anniversary party...we were SO flattered to be invited, the only invited 4 couples from the street and it's a really elaborate ****tail buffet at the CC! It's supposed to be cold tomorrow so I might get to wear this pretty beaded sweater I have! :)

We are heading to Bloomington this weekend. Dw is already there playing Bingo with her mom while our next door neighbor watches the kids. I'm sure you MOOT members will dig that! I actually need to start packing shortly and pick up the kids and head down.
Tonight we are doing something rare... having dinner with some friends w/o kids! And tomorrow night my fil and his wife will be watching our kids while we go to a wedding reception. Some people feel slighted, but color me optimistic when I don't have to sit through a wedding but can go to the party!
Woo Hoo!
:)
I Wonder if they'll play Meatloaf?

Thanks for the site Ann... I'm going to have to check it out and see what idea's they have. Right now I'm totally clueless. LOL
I hope your orchestra party goes well. Have fun at your neighbor's 50th Wedding Anniversary party. You should be VERY flattered if they only invited 4 couples and you were one of them. :) Let us know how the food/buffet was. :) Sounds like a lot of fun!

MM! I went as Tatiana last year to a grown up party. I loved it. Your hubby could go as Oberon. Hope you find something original. ßß!
Diane..We were so honored and flattered! The party was just lovely. Their children each spoke and showed cute pics from their life. At the end, the two granddaughters came out dress in replicas of their bridesmaid dresses with the husband/honoree..he got down on one knee while their good friend and priest who married them said their vows and gave her a beautiful platinum and diamond band!!!! She was in shock..we ALL were crying!!! It was such a special evening!!!!!!!!!
Arianna...nice to see you back!!! :)

Thanksgiving Weekend for us Canadians, so getting ready for the big family get together. My mother and MIL are both staying here. Right now they are helping dh in the kitchen to prepare dinner for the troops. Everyone is bringing something, so it won't be too bad. I don't know how we got talked into having it at our place, but none the less, we are expecting a crowd.
As I said my mother is here. My Godparents, their daughter, dh and 4 kids are coming as well as MIL, 9 of dh 11 brothers and sisters and their families. I don't know where we will put everyone. It's a beautiful day so the kids can be outside. If it's stays warm, they guys will likely be out on the deck. We also have a large living room, family room and recreation room so can just spread them out all over. Turkey #3 is in the oven and smells wonderful. I love holidays!!!!! I think the babies do too, they are kicking up a storm today.

Not a very exciting weekend here. Dh played golf with some friends yesterday, so I took the opportunity to go shopping for some nice shirts to go with my dress pants. I had plenty of pants but no shirts, and I am allowed to start subbing on Tuesday. I plan on going up to the schools to talk to them again on Tuesday morning if they don't call. It has been awhile since I went around and introduced myself, so I think an update could be helpful. My parents came over to eat last night. That about wraps up this weekend. Told you it wasn't very exciting.

My mom, sis and niece spent the night with me and dks Friday night so they could help me out since dh had football out of town. They left around noon on Sat and then my dad and step mom came over and made us supper. It was nice to have extra help and company to break up the monotany of laying around! I also watched a few movies since we had free movie channels all wknd. I watched Gone in Sixty Seconds, Down to You, and Bounce. :)
