This won't work for everyone (of course, since not everthing works for everone, lol!) because it depends on the types of stores you have in your area.
We have a couple of "upper class" consignment stores in town. My Mom works at one and sold a mink coat the other day, just to give you an idea of the types of things they occasionally sell....
There are also stores like Savers and the Salvation Army, etc. I go and buy the good name stuff from those places and turn around to sell it at the upper class consignment stores. If you get the items on the 1/2 price days you can often pay $2.00 for a nice blazer and re-sell it for around $30. So your investment is your time to shop, the time you take to clean the garment and your $2.00 that paid for it to begin with.
It's not a ton of money, but it does help. :0) I don't like the idea of Pampered Chef, Mary Kay and those and I don't have any other skill that I could really turn into a money maker except shopping!!!
