At mops yesterday we made the cutest pumpkin craft out of dryer vent material (you know the white, soft sided tubes with the ribs). They cut lengths of it short enough to turn it into a ball (kinda like the accordian like decorations?) and spray painted them orange. We twisted a rectangle cut from a paper bag. keep twisting until it twists into itself to look like a pumpkin stem. Paint it green lightly so some brown shows through. Glue onto top of "pumpkin". Then add artificial leaves, curled green wire or other item to look like vines, and fake berries. It is so cute. I think it will be nice for a centerpeice.
