The most recent edition of the online magazine Religious Education Webzine contains a number of features that can be helpful to teachers preparing a unit on Saints:
* Reviews of Web Sites - Saints
A review of over 20 web sites containing resources on
Saints: biographies, on praying to Saints, the canonization
process, patron Saints, relics of Saints, Saints in the
movies...
* The Wisdom of Saints
Two pages containing over 50 quotations from Saints. These
can be used for your personal reflection or to post on your
classroom bulletin board. I plan on expanding these pages
over time.
* Classroom Activities on Saints
Four suggestions of activities aiming at helping students
learn about Saints, identify with them, and reflect on the
role of saints.
