Thank you for the warm welcome! :) I have recently quit my job as the office manager for a financial planning firm. I like working to give me an "identity" but want to get into something where I can work when I want to. The 8-5 was dragging me down. My daughter is in a great preschool and learns something new each day. I received a cosmetology license in Texas and am trying to transfer it to Colorado where I currently live. It has been many years since I have "made someone look beautiful" so I decided I needed extra schooling. There is a long road ahead of us, but well get by just fine.

My post was a bit sketchy... I want to work part-time to spend more time with my daughter but would also like to keep her in school part-time as I feel she needs the time away from me and to be with other kids. Being an only child must be rough at times.
