MY neighbor!!!! I don't know what I have done to be placed next to this incredible woman/family. Today she watched my kids while I went to ds's conference. I got back and she fed us lunch. Tonight she brought us a rotiserrie chicken and noodles. She said, "So that all I had to do was heat up a veggie."

This is just a slight glimpse into the things she does. Anyway, if there was an award......I'd nominate her!

WOW! WOW! WOW! 8o Some people are simply incredible!! Have you known her a long time? Does she have kids? The thing is - as amazing as you think she is, she also must think an awful lot of you to do these very generous and kind things!! :)

Angie that is nice of her to do things like that for you. Woman's Day magazine has a friends and neighbors award for every magazine that they put out, maybe you could nominate her for that, but like Karla said, she must think a lot of you too.

Her dk's are dd 2 and ds 6, which is great cuz mine are dd 3 and ds 5. They are "bestest buddies." We have been neighbors for a little over a year now.

Leigh - I am going to find my Woman's Day magazine! Thank you for the tip!!

JAK - I wish I could make a carbon copy to send to you!!!

And here I thought I had a nice neighbor but your's really sounds incredibly nice. They say you can't pick/choose your neighbor's but it sounds like you've been blessed with one of the best... Like the other's said though... you must be a pretty good neighbor too otherwises I'm sure she probably wouldn't be being this nice. I'm sure you don't see her carrying food like this to ALL of her neighbor's... do you? Well... that should tell you something. Consider yourself a very lucky lady though... not too many of those around.

My neighbor corners me and tries to make me do a one way carpool that benefits her only, volunteers me, dh and my minivan to help them move their office to the new building without asking, watch her kids if she is stuck up in Northern Springs and there is no one home to receive them from school and this is all in the last 2 weeks. ROFL!!! Guess which stuff I did?? NADA!!!!

Im sure you are just as nice as a neighbor Angie to her and that is why she goes out of her way. :) I actually have a problem allowing people to do nice things for me because I always think I need to reciprocate or they will call on me to reciprocate at the worse times. There was only one time that I had the kind of relationship you have and that women had 8 kids and I had none, but we had a great exchange of everything without keeping score. Savour it and feel blessed!!

LOL... this sounds like me with my neighbor. I'm SUCH of a blabber mouth and every time I start talking with my neighbor we tend to go on way longer than we should/intended. Sometimes I think he/she avoids coming outside when they see that I'm outside... cause they know we will probably get into another too lengthy conversation. After working with kids all day long it's such of a blessing to have an adult to talk with. LOL

LOL Diane....I really like her, but she tells me the same stories over and over....she is an older woman...and apparently not well like in our small town...so I have to hear all the gossip about all our neighbors on our street....LOL...nice woman...just lonely I think......the just talking would be welcome....LOL..:D
