MM! So far so good. No real problems as of yet. We joined a new homeschool group. They are very active and meet twice monthly. This year selected a geography project to fun year long. We're elected to present Greece. They have the different sections scheduled for presentation once a month. Someone is video taping the entire project for the rest of us and will make copies available at the end of the school year. Pretty cool.

Busy! LOL
It seems we are going somewhere nearly everyday, between school things, regular errands, and holiday stuff. But we are making progress. He is able to read the Bob books with little help and math is a snap for him. History and science are mostly library books right now. My main focus for this first year is learning the 3R's.
And colors and shapes for my 2 yo and playing nice.

I homeschool 3 kids 3rd, 5th, 8th grade. I wimped out and send the k-gartener to private school. :o)
Hi Pam,
I'm not currently homeschooling but have researched it and am ready to roll for next year. I would really like to start after Christmas!!!!! My kids are in 2nd and Kindergarten and I teach K at their school. This is our first year. I was so excited because it is "supposed" to be the best school in the area. Well, since I am on the "inside" I can see that it is just no different. Anyway, I asked myself what am I doing teaching all these other kids when I should be at home teaching my own. My good friend homeschools and is part of a group in our area so I am going to join in with them. I have been reading about all the different types of curriculums and think that I would enjoy unit studies. What curriculum are you using? Do you know anything about Konos?
Anyway, just thought I'd share. :)
