Good morning!! We have parent teacher conf here today too. It is funny about worrying what to wear. I do the same thing. It blows me away that my kids teachers are my age or younger. I always thought teachers were OLD when I was a kid. NOT!! :)

Renee-you are ambitious. I am still trying to figure out how to make all the candy disappear so I won't eat it.

Well I am off to sweep the porch. It is a gorgeous, sunny fall morning here.

See ya-

I can't believe how fast this whole year has gone by. My baby (ds) will be 6 at the end of the month and it really seems like only yesterday he was a baby.

We have a heat wave coming through right now- it's supposed to be near 30 today! :D It's been in the teens lately with cold wind chills. So 30 will be pretty warm. Supposed to snow today and on into tomorrow. The kids are excited.

I have a million and one things to do and only so many hours to get them done. I hope you all have a wonderful day! :)

that means we are fast approaching my least favourite weather ....the snow :frosty: ...I hate the cold.

Time is going by so quickly, that's why we have to do things while we get a chance and not put things off for another day (how's that for philosophical?)

Happy November to everyone

I'm with you on this one Marla. I HATE winter/snow... Ugh!!! Is there any way of skipping it? I'm already looking forward to spring. :)

Were having BEAUTIFUL weather here today... the highs might get up to 65 today. :yippee: I woke up to a little bit of rain this morning but thank goodness it didn't last very long. The sun is out, the birds are singing and you couldn't ask for a better day. I had the kids outside for a while and they had so much fun throwing and jumping in the leaves. LOL I can only hope that it's this nice over the weekend... :)

I hope you all who have conferances find something adequate to wear to your child/ren's conferances. LOL It's funny because I never really gave it a thought what I was wearing. :) I nice pair of jeans and decent looking shirt usually did it for me. LOL Hope all of your conferances go well... :)

This is GREAT walking weather... not too hot, not too cold. It's certainly a good way to start out your day.

Please stop it!! You are going to send me into a panic attack - I usually have lots of Christmas shopping done by now and you are reminding me how far behind I am this year!! :newwink: :D

I also took my Halloween decorations down yesterday - usually I am not so prompt with those, but since I was cleaning decided to just get 'em back where they belong. :)
