WOW, March finally, hopefully I can make it till spring....we are getting hammered again with snow, its snowing now and will all day probably....dd gets registered for Pre-K tonight and 6 pm I am getting really excited...she really will love it...and I will relish the time alone in september, I know that sounds horrible...but she is getting to the age where she is impossible...lol....hanging around today taking it easy on my back, no laundry to do, house is straightened and dishes are done....might make some soup later but I get to surf and play with dd all day long.....have a great one all....
Oh, I am SO ready for spring...I can't wait, but I also can't see it coming within the next 20 days either :o( Even if we start seeing a gradual process I would be happy.
Other than that life is good, LOL.

It's hard to believe that it's already March 1st... where did February go? LOL Were suppose to start getting a break from this cold weather today and I'm more than ready for it too. We've got so much darn snow here and the ice is just awful! I'm sure it will take a while for it all to melt... Ugh!!!
Renee... I'm sure your dd will really enjoy Pre-K a lot. I know what you mean about looking forward to some time alone... and you're not awful for feeling that way. I'm very seldom EVER alone, if ever... and I've been so tempted to take a day off when the kids are still in school and dh is at work. Knowing me though I'd probably get bored and not know what to do with myself but I'd sure like to try it. LOL Anyway, I'd better go look in the freezer and see what I've got for supper tonight. Everybodies finally going to be home at the same time tonight so we'll actually get to sit down and eat together as a familly. THATS been a while too. LOL Have a good day all!

sometimes I can feel bad about saying that I am looking forward to both my dk's being in school....alas I will still have my puppy to deal with....lol....dinner together sounds great...I get to go out with dh on friday night and no kids till noon on saturday....i am so excited we don't know what to do....thinking about a movie and dinner...we haven't been alone like this for I can't remember when....LOL....
Can't believe it's March! It's cold here today (50) and rainy..grrr. DS started vomiting yesterday so he is home today. the tile guy is coming this am to lay the tile.
Renee...don't feel guitly..putting my kids on the bus every am is sometimes the highlight of my day!!!! LOL
Does anyone else besides me have a hard time finding the new posts when there a bunch of us online posting at the same time like now?????
also, I went into my email for a few minutes and had a really hard time coming back here, and getting new posts...very strange.....LOL...is it me or this board....HUHHMMMMM

It went down on me for a little bit too....it seems like I get "fatal error" messages here or that my "time has expired" (David, am I limited here?? LOL) alot.
Good Morning! I can't wait for spring! I, too, am so tired of cold, ice, snow....I want flowers!! :) May sounds so far away though....
Renee, don't feel guilty about sending dd to preschool. I know, I felt it too, but think of it as doing something good for her and you benefit, too! It's hard at first, but you'll find you're a better mommy for it as you'll be refreshed :)
AnnW, I hope ds feels better soon! There is just so much crud going around. Does this year seem worse than usual to anyone else?
And yes, Ann, I know what you mean about the posts...I know I miss lots but just catch them the best I can!

Thanks Rae for the encouragement, and the reminder about survivor tonight? I wonder who gets injured.....

I've been getting a lot of fatal error messages this morning too... I thought it was my computer. LOL I didn't have a hard time getting back in but just found it more annoying than anything. LOL :) I'm also feeling like I'm missing a lot of posts lately. I like the board the way it is but I think when it came to reading new posts... it was easier the other way. Not complaining though! LOL
I'm so excited! We've been having the most wonderful rain the last two days (I live in the desert, so rain is a treat). It's supposed to clear up today and for the weekend (hopefully I'll get my car tomorrow!). I was going to work at the Headstart today, but another parent who doesn't get the opportunity requested a turn, so I had made plans to start my "spring cleaning" and take down the Valentine decor, but then last night my co-room parent called me at work and asked me to help her at the elementary today. So there go my big plans of being a homebody. That's fine. Tonight the school district is sponsoring a "7 Habits For Highly Effective Families" seminar. I am really looking forward to going. I have the book (by Stephen R. Covey, author of "7 Habits for Highly Effective People"), and I have been to a brief seminar on it before. I think It's going to be a wonderful day!

Oh MK I am totally jealous! I just love the Highly Effective Families Book. Bring some insight back tomorrow!!
MOPS was this morning and they had a bunch of pre-schools come in for the "lecture" time. My problem is that I don't know when (morning or afternoon) my ds will be in kindergarden/kindergarten(?), which is it anyway?, starting this fall. I wanted to put dd in preschool so I could get a couple hours 2 times a week to myself. The problem is....preschool fills up so fast that by the time I know when to send her, I won't be able to get her in. Arg!
Enough of that mess!!
It is going to be 50 on Saturday and I can't wait. This is my first non-working Saturday in almost 3 years!! Tonight we are taking the kids to the circus.
I hope all your days are filled with sunshine even if you have clouds overhead!!!

I was here about 20 minutes ago and read seven posts. Now when I checked back in there were seven new posts with lots of replies, so I don't think everyone just posted them? I hope I am not missing posts like this often - this is the first time I have noticed it. :\
