Teeth question

ds who is 5 1/2 was complaining about pain on his cheek, well on further inspection, it was his gums that hurt in the back, 6 year molers? too early for these? gave him advil and he felt better, talked with my dentist friend and said that could be it, she'll look at him on Friday, but my question is when did your children start getting molers and loosing teeth? Seems early for him, but I don't know...

All kids are different, some teeth early, some later, some right on schedule. I started losing and gaining teeth at 5 yrs, in Kindergarten. Other kids I know have also. DS got his 6 yr. molars the same month as his b-day. I can't remember when I got mine. But some kids have been known to get them early.

I must be getting old, I don't remember getting or loosing my teeth...LOL
