Down to 197! That is a total of 33 pounds baby!

I am dissappointed that the weight is not falling off faster. Lately it is down to one pound a week. I was hoping I had hit a plateau, but it just may be that the weight will come off slower as I hit my target weight. Also... I may be cheating just enough to keep me to one pound a week.

I did get to the gym three days this week and did Taebo on Saturday and Sunday. I should be able to get in the gym four days this week. Also, I am thinking of upping my time on the treadmill from 30 minutes to 45 minutes. I won't go quite as fast at first, but I will see if that burns a few more calories. For a day it is not much time, but if I get in 4 days then that is a total of 1 extra hour of cardio per week.

My mom made my Achille's Heal this week... Peanut Butter Fudge! Yikes! I can not seem to resist it. I can turn down anything else but my Mom's fudge. I'm trying to push it off on the neighbors b/c I had 3 pieces this morning after weighing in!

I also had a little bit of Trick or Treat candy. I tried to stick to the low-fat stuff like Skittles, but I consumed more sugar then I am used to. Anyway, I'm going to try and eat alot more fruits and vegetables this week and lighten up a bit on the starch and red meat.

If I lose a pound a week... I am ok with that. It will take me longer to get to my goal, but I'm just enjoying the 33 I've already lost!

Sounds like you are keeping a great attitude ~ way to go! :thumb: Don't be too hard on yourself for the treats you have had - we all need them !! :D

Don't be so hard on yourself. 1 lb a week is good.

I fell of the wagon just right now. I had 8 sugar cookies. I know slap my hand. I was starving and they were too handy.

Now you know why I got rid of the Halloween Candy!!

Keep it up Brichard!!

Hey you dropped below 200 and are staying there. I think its good that you are starting to find out what you can and can't do. Pretty soon you are going to have to maintain a weight which I find much harder than losing and definitely much harder than gaining. I think testing some of those limits as you are dropping will set you up for success once you hit goal. Keep up the great work!!!

And send that fudge on over here.

Congradulations......33 pounds is a lot....one pound a week means you'll keep it off easier....that's what they say....hang in there......

did someone say Fudge? :frog:

Good for you Brichard!! Maybe you are hitting a plateau. I bounce between two plateaus that are 8lbs apart. They say you should increase your calorie intake and your exercise intake for a week to boost your metabolism back up. Good luck-it gets frustrating in the final inning!

Hey Brichard !

I bought a scale finally. It said I'm down to 144. Had to go buy new Jeans... size 10! (but they're a little tight)

My goal is to continue to fit into those pants at the end of the holiday season. :)

Congratulations... you're doing really good. I know that when I first started loosing weight it wasn't hard to loose. After a while I just wasn't loosing it as quickly as I had been when I started but... suddenly it all started happening for me again. I have no doubts that with your positive attitude you'll meet your goal. Keep it up!!! :)

:yippee: Wow Jeannie... WAY TO GO!!! :yippee: Congratulations to you too. I have a scale but seldom go on it. I can always tell when I'm gaining by the way my pants fit me... LOL When they start feeling a little bit on the tighter side I know it's time to cut back.

When I was loosing weight I purposly wore jeans that were a "little" bit on the tight side... I was a good reminder to me NOT TO OVEREAT. :) Keep it up!
