Thanks - I feel pretty sure we will. It's just so disappointing... I thought this was a 'cure', ya know??? :grimace:
I'll talk to the dr. tomorrow and I imagine we'll be back on track in 2 more weeks.

I am so sorry for your frustration. I am glad that you are going to keep trying.
We have been waiting for 5 years for another little one to join our family. It is hard and challenging.
I wish you the best. Sending prayers and wishes for you!!
Yea, I do know. Did you by chance have a c-section with your first? If so, sometimes there is scarring that will cause secondary infertility. Also sometimes, another thing that works is to have a D&C to sort of roto rooter everything out, and then have the insemination. It's pretty invasive, so it's not a decision to make lightly, but if you have any build up of anything in the tubes, endometrial lining or uterus that will clear it all out. Have they done the dye test to check for blockage?
Also, is your doc an infertility specialist? If not, it might be time to switch.
Hang in there, I know how rough it can be. Take care.

Kacee - oh, I wish you all the best in your next little one coming. I'll keep you in my thoughts too.
AnnW-
Yes, dd was a c-section.
Yes, we did the HSG - the dye test - and there was some delayed spill on the left side. (coincidentally, that's the side that's had 2 ovarian cysts the size of baseballs removed!) (also the side that was cookin' the egg this month....) It seems to have scar tissue on, in, around it too - ultrasounds are not clear on that side. I'm hoping the right side will make the egg next month.
Yes, the dr. is an infertility specialist. A very good one, supposedly.
May I ask about your experiences???
Thanks for the support. :)
Hope those one line answers didn't come across as short... not meant to.

Not short at all! :) I am a DES daughter. I have had 3 misscarriages, 11 surgeries including about 5 D&C's. We did several rounds of AI and the next step would have been invitro, but we found out I had about a 3% chance of carrying to term, my doc and I agreed that was stupid to pursue and my dh and I adopted.
I am kind of surprised that considering you have scar tissue and possibly some blockage that your doc hasn't done a d&c first.
Good luck to you.
I'm sorry it didn't take....glad to hear your still going to try....hang in there sweetie.....
