Has anyone ever had/eaten a Coke Roast? My mom has invited us all over to her house next weekend for my sisters birthday and she's thinking about making this. I told her I'd ask... to see if anyone knew if it was good or not. So... if you've ever made/tasted it... in your opinion, was it good?

LOL... I guess nobody has ever had it before either. :biglaugh: I'll have to let you know how it tastes. If it's good enough maybe I'll post the recipe.

LOL, answering your own posts huh....:biglaugh:LOL...no diane, I have never heard of this...sounds interesting though, especially since we know what COKE can do to engines, and pennies....:lol:...let me know how it tastes...it does have me curious....?(

Diane, I was hoping for some answers too. I have a ton of crockpot recipes that call for coke and have been very curious myself. I think it would be a great tenderizer. I would go for it.

It was really very good... I couldn't tell that there was Coke in it but... I'm sure it must have done something for the taste. My mom's a great cook though so I don't know if it was the coke that made it so good or just her good cooking. I'd probably make it. Thanks for asking... :)

:drool: sounds wonderful....was it easy? It must really tenderize the meat....what kind of meat...Roast Beef? sorry I sound so stupid :silly: I don't do meat that often so am not hip to the right names...except ground chuck...:p

yes Renee... it was a roast beef. I don't know exactly what the coke does but... it was good.
