I am so bummed!!

Please don't think I am totally selfish but....
I have been looking forward to this weekend away w/the girls to work on scrapbooks. We stay in a hotel in Loveland and work on scrapbooks all day and nite.
This morning Jay gets up w/a dry cough. He tends to have asthma when he gets a cold and now I am soooo torn about going.
My wonderful dh says go-he can handle it. I know he can and yet I am feeling intense Mommy guilt!!
Jay says his throat doesn't hurt it is just dry. I have him in front of the tv w/a cold glass of water and the humidifier!!

It's so hard to leave them when they're sick. Whether or not dh can handle it! I hope he feels better quickly.

Timing is everything... right? :) If dh said to go then GO, and quit feeling guilty about it! You deserve this time to yourself... Have fun!!!!! :)

I also think you should go. If you need more convincing, read MK's Introspection post. We all need time for ourselves and I know it's hard with your ds not feeling great, but put things in your dh's hands and take the time for yourself that you were so looking forward to. You can always can call and check in. Don't feel guilty and have fun!! :)

and I am going to go. As with most colds, he sounded terrible this morning and fine now. I will leave his inhaler w/dh and know that he will be fine. Thanks for all your encouragement. I intend to go have a great time. (((((hugs)))))
