Christmas present advice please

DD LOVES LOVES LOVES to sing in her room to the radio, she had a Fisher Price cassette player with mike that she used to death!!!! Mentioned that to my mom and she is thinking about getting her either the cassette player with mike or a little karaoke machine...what do you think of these

May not be what you are looking for if you want her to contain her antics to her own room, lol.

Kathy..I had thought about one that hooks to the tv, but she really loves doing this in her room. Are you talking about the Barbie one that I posted? I was wondering that too, but I know she would love that headset mike, plus she is asking for a bunch of Barbies this Christmas...so hard to tell!

I think the Barbie one is very cute! Of course my dd is only 3. My MIL bought one last year that was a mic stand with the cassette player in the bottom of the stand. It fell apart in about 30 minutes! It was only $19.99 though. Great Idea for a gift, but watch for the cheapies!

I liked the one from Target the best. It looks a bit more substantial than the others. When we buy anything Barbie(non-doll)-dd is disappointed because they are very limited in what they can do. Heck, I would buy her a stand for her mike too, so she can really do it up! LOL

I saw the commercial for the Ekara Karaoke and told dh we should get it for dks - oldest ds is such a performer and quite the little ham. :) He has a long enough list as it is, so I think we'll wait until his bday in April. So, I'd love to hear product reviews after Christmas from those of you that get karaoke devices. :)

I think that Ekara one is cool too, just not sure we want to limit it just to the tv.
