I am trapped and bored!!!!!! LOL

They put down the grout today so no one call walk on the entry..so basically we are either trapped on one side of the house or other. It's pouring down rain so we can't go outside and do anything!!!

Hi Ann. How long before the grout dries...does it have to cure too? Bummer about the rain....it is a beautiful day here! So nice that I walked home from school at 3:30. Took me about 40 minutes but it was worth it. I would dearly love to lose some pounds, so I am trying to take advantage of any nice days to get some walking in.
One of our friends who drives a semi was just in Houston last week....talk about a shock to the system to be here where it has been soooo cold, to there where it is so nice. Actually his truck was none too impressed with the temp changes either and he had some repairs along the way. One of these fine days I will take time for me (yah right!) and head out with him for a trip. Who knows, maybe I'll end up your way some day!

It means leaving something long enough to make it durable. Like letting paint be on the walls for a few days before you would use those sticky hangers on it.

You can usually walk across it pretty quickly if you have a piece of cardboard over it. I have never heard of a "tile seal?"

Angie..They told me that we had to be off the tile for 24 hours while the grout dried....they are going to seal the grout so that it is waterproof like the tile.

I learn at least one new thing here everyday!! I'll be sure to tell that to dh if he ever gives me a hard time about the time I spend on here! LOL!

I am sorry that you are bored, but I am happy that they come to lay the tiles for you. Hope you find something to keep you occupied. I know I hate it when I get bored. It makes me think back to the days when my mom would say if you are that bored I will find you something to do, and trust me you did not want her to find you something to do. LOL!! Hope your day gets better.

The seal doesn't make it slippery when wet does it?

they didn't seal the whole tile (it's already glazed), just the grout..painted it on with a paint brush..stinks to high heaven now! LOL
