Last one...how about Time Warp or Tacky Tourist?

Last year our school age summer program did a Tacky Touist week. One day they were each handed a piece of string about 24" long and asked to take it home and create a lei that they could wear at the Hawaiian Luau party the following day. The only stipulation was they had to use things that they could find around their house, not store bought decorations. Some of them came up with very creative ideas.
-paper rolls- painted various colors, foil cups from tarts, muffin papers, tiny stuffed animals, hair ties, old socks cut into smaller pieces and ties around the string, feathers, candy wrappers, etc....
They all recieved a prize for their creative efforts!

Thanks Ryleigh.....I think making "leis" is a great idea for Tacky Tourist...for the time warp? Maybe something with peace signs?
