Burner info needed please

We got a burner installed on the computer. No instructions came with it, just a CD for Recording Software . We installed it onto the computer. When we try to make a disc ie. using napster or morpheus, we are getting a message saying that the files can't be read.

Not sure if I posted this before (I thought of it)..but I am going crazy :bounce:

Hi Marla,
My husband is into this stuff. He wanted to know what program you were using and says the best one to use to burn is Nero. Let me know if this helps and ask more if needed. It's all " Greek" to me. lol

Thanks Kab....is the nero system a separate disc that can be purchased? The one that we got with our system is adaptec .I followed the instructions to install it, and supposedly it worked. I just don't know what I am doing wrong because I successfully downloaded the songs from morpheus and napster, but can't seem to transfer them to the burner ?(

Go to www.cnet.com and download the demo of Nero. He says the one you are using is not good and maybe that is why it's not working for you. Good Luck. Let me know.
