I just realized that the Queen has posted over 300 posts and Karla's well into the 200's! I should have a computer at home again tonight (my old one blew up a couple weeks ago and I've only had access here at the office) so I'll have to catch up! ;)

Yes, someplace warm. An ideabox gathering. Pam, David, how big is your house? We'd go to AnnW's but her tile isn't dry yet!!!

Thanks, Karla!

Btw, I like Sylvia Browne! Haven't read any books or anything, but I find her intriguing.

TxMom's house sounds really nice! LOL
Kind of embarrassed that I am over 300...I really need to get a life! LOL

I really like her, too. Some people just don't believe in what she does, but I think compared to others who I have seen like her she seems the most authentic. What she does fascinates me! Wish I could meet her or even just talk to her on the phone!! :)

Well we have over 100 members, now lets just see if they all keep posting. I do think we deserve a party though. Way to go AnnW and Karla keep up the good work.

Yeah... I'm all for a party, when is it? LOL :) I did notice that a lot of the members haven't posted even ONE post though... so now lets hope that they all come back and start posting. I love coming here and finding a LOT of new posts to read. LOL

She does seem legit--and Montel just loves her! LOL! ;) When I was in my twenties, my mom, sister, mom's friend and her daughters and I would occasionally go to psychics for fun. We'd go for drinks afterwards and have a laugh sharing our readings. I always thought it was all a big hoax and was never impressed because not one "psychic" came anywhere close with me. Maybe that was because I was skeptical and gave nothing for them to go by--no expressions or verbal feedback at all. I think that with most of them, if you believe with all your heart, you get a glimmer in your eye or something when they hit somewhere close to accurate and that gives them something to build on. However, my mother's cousin reads cards (not Tarot, just regular playing cards) and she told me some off the wall stuff and I laughed it off at the time, but it all came true. Very weird. I do think there are a lot of flakes and fakes out there, but I do think it's interesting when someone is consistently accurate. And it's really interesting that Sylvia Browne actually works with police investigators to solve crimes.

I know what you mean about people being able to read others expressions and go from that. Sylvia seems to be able to tell people things before they even volunteer any information. I have seen people ask her a question about one thing and when she tells them something else about a totally different topic they are amazed at how right on she is! She fascinates me. Thanks for "chatting" about her! :)

edited to add: I think it would be fun to go to a psychic just for fun to see what they had to say and if anything was even remotely close! I bet you gals had a lot of fun when you went!

Hi ladies. My mom and sister are reading Sylvia Browne as we speak. My mom is trying to get me to read her books when she is done. Guess I'll have to borrow them after all!
:)

Is there still a chat room here? If so, we should plan to meet there! We used to have so much fun in there!

Oh, and it really was fun doing that! Especially the sharing of stories and laughing afterwards! ;)

Have you ever seen her, Darlene? It is spooky to watch her in action. And, like I said, the fact that she has solved many crimes is also amazing. Think I'll have to check out one of her books, too!

I have two of her books and got the others from the library. I really liked them, but then again I am completely fascinated by her! A chat room would be fun here - I would love to hear what you think about the books when you read them! :)
