Do you use mop n glow or something similar?

our kitchen floor is just old...but since the yucky weather...and my kitchen is the entry to our house...mud and all....everything gets on the floor....remember I have to take the dog out alot too...so I tried mop and glow...well its a little sticky at first...but I have noticed that I can swifer easier now that it has a shine on the floor....what do you all do? I ususlly bleach and water it once a week...just to keep it sanitary...cuz of the dog...

I have a hardwood floor in my kitchen and when we moved here the gal said to clean it with vinegar and water. Before we moved here I started using a spray and clean type cleaner - I think it was Pine Sol or something?? It was in a blue bottle and you could just spray it and then mop it with no water - I loved it because it was simple and I hate doing the floors. :) I need to buy some more for my bathroom floors...

We don't have hard wood floors, but in NC we did. I have always just used ammonia and water and everyone always comment on how shiny my floors are. I have no idea why they don't look that great to me! LOL
