MM! I turned a basic cookie recipe into a masterpiece :
1 1/4 c. white sugar
3/4 c. real butter
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 3/4 all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
unwrapped hershey kisses
1/2 c. crushed peppermint candies
Heat oven tp 375
cream butter, sugar and egg until creamy
slowley add in dry ingredients( flour, salt, baking soda)
add vanilla
mix well
cover and refigerate 1 hour
shape dough into 1" ball and roll in crushed peppermint candies. Sort of juggle them to remove excess
place on UNGREASED cookie sheet 2" apart
bake 7-10 min or until golden brown
immediately press 1 hershey kiss into center of each cookie.
remove and cool on cooling rack
I used rolo candies as well as hershey's hugs! YUMMY! ßß!
