MM! Renee's post about foil paper got me thinking. How do you wrap your gifts? Are they elaborate or simple, the same every year or do you change it around? Gift bags or paper?

I've been wrapping country style for a few years now. Brown postal paper either plain or hand stamped with natural raffia and colored paper raffia for ribbons. I was inspired the other night in Walmart of all places, they were selling coragated star gift tags 2 for $1.98. Well I have the paper and templates with my scrapbook things. So guess what I'll be making this week? lol I have been known to wrap a Yankee Candle gift right in the bag. Their holiday bags are soooo cute !

The tree in the Living room as well as the decoration on the front of the house are all finished off with natural raffia this year too. Looks enchanting. A very nice country Holiday theme in the Caribbean.....

I have those huge rolls of paper that department stores use to wrap gifts. They are on those big metal roller/cutting holders. One is a gold craft type paper and the other is brown craft with green polka dots. I also reuse gift bags that I have been given previously. I usually make my own tags, but I bought some this year. My son's school has an ellison die cutter (is this what you have arianna?) so with Arianna's prompting I may cut some tags there!!

My mother always wraps gifts and makes these huge bows for them. It always looks so beautiful!

My stepmother uses lots of gift bags. She also uses leftover wallpaper that match her house. Very cool!

MM! My scrapbook store in the states had one. I loved it. I don't have one, they're a little $$$$! lol I was going to use plastic templates and an exacto knife with a self healing cutting board underneath. I have colored coragated paper I bought in the states, but I could recycle an old box too. Just split the paper to reveal the coragated paper. Now I'm getting too crazy ! lol Have fun and glad I inspired you!

I usually buy all kinds of Christmas wrap but I wrap each and every one of them to the T's.. Special big ribons and bows and I usually attach something special to the bows. They are VERY pretty. My kids/relatives always comment how bad they feel having to open them up because they're too pretty. LOL I spend a lot of time wrapping... I like they way they look. :)

I am just grateful to get it done. I am a terrible wrapper. I buy the rolls of Christmas paper and the stick on bows. I have also found the stick on tags. Way fun!!

Since some of our presents are sent in the mail I just use sticky tags and no bows. They would get mashed anyway!

I wrap dks in their own paper and I buy a variety of papers for everyone else. I don't put bows on because we have to transpost all of them out of town and they just end up smashed. :\

I like to have a variety of wrapping paper. I love to add bows and ribbons for that extra touch :)
