Venting here!!

I have had a load of clothes in the drier. IT has now been 1 hr and 15, and they are not dry. This is the same drier that we paid 150.00 in Jan. to fix. Then the man came out in Feb. We spent another 55.00. Last week he was out on Thursday With another bill of 51.00. We have put over 240 in it and it still is not working. I am so ARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHed!!!
Dh says we may just have to go get a new today!! But ohhhh I am furious with the drier guy!!!! DH suggested we sale it to him!!

Hey, you get to have a new dryer!!! Good for you. Forget the money lost on the old one, it is gone. Chin up and get shopping!!

We've had that happen to us too... and it is awfully frustrating. I kept thinking about all that money I wasted and could have put towards my new drier, and that made me angrier. I agree with angie though... I'd go out and get shopping for that new drier! Hope you find one you like. :)

All I can say is when my dh says let's get something new, I say all right! LOL! No, really, I would be angry about the repairman not fixing the dryer, but maybe buying a new one will be cheaper in the long run.

Our dryer (it is almost 8 yrs old though)takes almost two hours to dry a load. It's been getting slower and slower each year. Probably time to look into a new one also. The washer still works great, though!

We just had dryer problems, too, so I know how bad it stinks!! We had ours fixed in the fall for over $50 and last week it was another $150! I had the same thought that we should have just bought a new one - hindsight is definitely 20/20! :(
BTW, what exactly is he saying is wrong with it each time he comes??

Hi Kacee. Has the repairman not offered any kind of warranty on his work?
How frustrating for you!
You may be able to sell your current dryer (for parts) to help with the cost of a new one.
