A blast from the past! That was a great show, I can still hum the theme song, lol. Remember "Witchy-Poo"???

I loved those shows. How about "Lidsville" with Charles Nelson Reilley? and Weenie the genie?

My sister will still sometimes chant "Witchiepoo for mayor!!"

Never heard of them! Is there something wrong with me? I know I'm young (well, sort of, compared to Ann I am LOL), but I know that I am not the youngest person on this board!

I'm doubting that there's something wrong with you Jen. But I do resemble that "compared to AnnW" remark. Be careful, missy!!

:biglaugh:

I also have the excuse that for 6 years of my childhood I lived overseas (navy brat) and we only got one channel. I was limited to the amount of TV I was exposed to before moving back to the states when I was 9. There are a lot of shows that were on when I was younger that I never saw or heard of only because we never got them!

I like so many others love to rease Ann about her age- and I thought I'd poke fun at her while she's not able to defend herself! She's not that old though- she's not old enought to be my mom! LOL ;)

Ouch-that reminds me of the classroom aide I had last year, who said "You're just the same age as my mom, but you don't seem that old." Is that a compliment....an insult....an honest observation......or just a reflection of extreme youth??????? LOL

I'm sure it was meant to be a compliment, Cathy. I said a similar comment to a new neighbor of mine (kicking myself all the way back to my house for saying it...) I told her her daughter was older than I (by a couple years) and that it didn't seem like she should have a daughter my age. I was so embarrassed. She looks extremely young for her age (my neighbor) and I was trying to express that but it just didn't come out right... She forgave me and understood. Youthfulness runs in her family it turns out.

The funny thing is that most of the women I am friends with are my moms age or older. She had me when she was 15. So she is only 38.

I remeber H.R. Pufinstuf! I had a crush on Jimmy! Oh, that English accent! ;) LOL! And I loved his magic flute, Freddie, too!

Don't remember Lidsville, but Land of the Lost sounds familiar.

I vaguely remember the show. I know know if I watched it often, because all I remember is Witchy Poo and the theme song.

I guess I wasn't too big of a fan.
