Not big on baking Donna?? How many times have you moved it from house to house?? LOL That is great! I cleaned out my MIL's pantry once and I was scared at the things I found. She made me promise not to tell my mom! I'd have to say that my mom's pantry would be much worse. :newwink:

I was shocked once when cleaning out my medicine cabinet and finding things that should have long been in the dump!!

ROFL!!! Don't think I could beat that! My fil on the other hand had stuff that probably could have crawled out of his kitchen when we cleaned it. ;) He owned a restaurant so he never ate at home...boy could we tell!! :lol:

Don't feel bad, I think I have some spices in my cupboard that I got as part of a shower gift when we got married 11 1/2 yrs. ago. I think it's ginger or something that I NEVER use and I've just never taken the time to throw it out!

That's too funny... but I shouldn't talk because I've probably got some just as old in my spice cabinet. LOL I guess I've really never checked the expiration dates on them... as a matter of fact I didn't really know that they HAD expiration dates on them. LOL You've peeked my curiousity now and when I'm done here I'm definitely going to go check them out. LOL :)

Oh, Donna I'm right there with you on this one. I don't bake much so I sure mine is out of date. I also have some spices I'm sure that are as old as my house. Maybe that will be one of my projects over the break: to clean out the spice cabinet.
