DL...I have an e-mail function ?

Why does it say, "Sorry. The email function has been disabled by the administrator." when I click on the "Click here to e-mail ______" link in someone's profile? If the function is turned off, why is there a link? And we were given an option of showing or hiding our e-mail addresses--under the "Hide e-mail Address?" question in my profile, I chose "no". Why was that an option if the function is disabled? Will it ever be enabled? Am I confused? Am I making sense? Am I asking too many questions? LOL! Thanks!

No more confused than I am. I wondered the same thing. Now that the question is out there, maybe we'll get an answer.

From what I remember this question was asked before and DL said that he doesn't have a good "administrator" for the email notification. I know that isn't the right word. Anyway, it doesn't work now, but will some day.

We don't have our own mail server to send all this mail through. I'm working on a deal with my hosting company and hope to have it up and running soon.
