That's it! I've had about all the snow I can take for one year. It has been snowing so hard for the last 48 hours that I think we have had more snow in two days than we have had most of the winter.
School cancelled ~~ two whining kids at home all day~'I'm bored, what can I do?' but of course nothing you suggest is good enough. dd finally made her way across the street to a friends place this afternoon. They are going to bake cookies.( of course that was a dumb idea when I suggested it yesterday). Ds is actually having a nap. He hasn't done that in almost a year. Never has been a sleeper. dh made his way into the office about noon but hopes to keep it a short day. Thought I'd sit back, relax and do a bit of surfing on the net but guess what. Just heard that dredded rumble rumble sound of my friend the snowplow. Peeked out the front window and found that the end of my driveway has a pile of snow at least as high as my shoulders (I'm 5'6") and likely about 3 - 4 feet wide, pushed into it. When Spencer wakes up I guess we will be doing a bit of shovelling so Brian can get the car in when he gets home. At least it's not too cold.
Don't mind me, I'm just venting. Five more days until dh and I are off to the Sunny south. The kids are going to Brian's sisters place in B.C. for the week. They can't wait. Neither can I!!!

I hear you with the snow... I've just about had it too. LOL At this time last year we had absolutely NO snow on the ground and the temperatures were up in the 60's... I'm beginning to wonder if it will EVER end. :) The kids are bored no matter what you find for them to do... and I've got just TONS of toys. Lately it seems that all they want to do is argue with each other and fight about the stupidest things. One dad came at lunch time to take his ds to McDonalds and of course the rest of the kids were all mad and upset because he didn't take all of them with. LOL Calgone, TAKE ME AWAY!!!!!! Can you believe I'm even actually looking forward to going grocery shopping tonight? Now THAT'S BAD... lol I hope you are all having a great day!

I don't like snow/winter anyways... but IMHO we've already gotten way too much snow, and then to wake up to 3 more inches of the white crap (and more coming) isn't even funny. LOL At this time last year we had NO snow and it was in the 60's. Oh... how I wish! I say enough is enough... I WANT SPRING!

I hear you, the snow days are the pits, having them home when the weather is so awful is just the pits, it's almost cruel, cuz I don't have anything for them to do either....we do try to get out and play in it, but then we get frozen toes and noses....

I can't stand it anymore either....I am done. I hope not to complain about bug spray and mosquito bites this spring and summer, but I am sure that I will....I think its just toooooooo much snow, I can take the winter, I really can, but its March for heavens sake....its over....be gone....

hope your day is brighter...

I hear ya! It's hard to watch it snow when we're approaching mid-March and I was thinking it would soon be melting! :( I usually don't mind winter, but for some reason this year I have serious Spring fever!!!
