Chocolate Casserole Cake
Duncan Hines Butter Recipe Fudge Cake Mix
1 can (14 oz) Eagle Brand
1 jar (11.75 oz) Smuckers Hot Fudge Sauce
1 carton (16 oz) Cool Whip
3 or more Heath or Skors bars, crushed
Bake cake according to directions on box. Don't grease sides or over cook..don't want it to pull away. While very hot, punch alot of holes on the cake (I use the end of a wooden spoon). Pour Eagle Brand over hot cake. Next spread hot fudge sauce over like you would icing. Let cool completely. Ice cake with cool whip and then top with the candy. Refridgerate.
If you want to make a Trifle
same ingredients as above but add
3 small packages instant vanilla pudding mix
6 cups milk
Do the cake (9x13 pan) and Eagle brand as above..let cool completely.
Make vanilla pudding according to directions. Break 1/2 the COOLED cake into large pieces. Put in a trifle bowl.
Layer 1/2 cake
1/2 pudding
1/2 Cool whip
1/2 crushed candy bars
Repeat
Chill thoroughly.
Texas Dump Cake
1 can cherry pie filling
1 can (20 oz, 2 1/2 C) crushed pineapple (add the juice)
1 box yellow cake mix (not lemon)
1 C coconut
1 C chopped pecans
1 sticks margarine, melted
In a 13x9 or very deep casserole dish, layer the ingredients as listed. DON'T MIX. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes at 325.
Banana Split Cheesecake
Make your favorite cheesecake recipe
Top with sliced bananas (dipped in a little lemon juice so they won't brown)
Next sliced strawberries (if using frozen drain very well)
Next layer canned blueberry pie filling
Top with whipped cream
Refridgerate
I have made the Chocolate Casserole and it is rich and dense! I haven't made the trifle, but I imagine it would be as good and maybe a little lighter but still sinful! LOL The Banana split cheesecake is one of my favorites, and I do that alot.
I am not personally a fan of the dump cake, but whenever I make it, there is never any left and it feeds a ton!
If you want anymore let me know, I also have a great frozen Grand Marnier Raspberry Mousse, but that might be hard cause you need to keep it frozen till serving.
