Would anyone be bothered if we did this thread by days???
The other thread was getting lengthy and my puter was going so slow that I was afraid of a fatal error.
I am thinking about potatoe soup for dinner??? But it is only 62. Is that cold enough for soup???
Good question.. When do you serve soup??? Does the temperature outside make a difference. I can't have soup during our Texas summer's. IT is just too hot!!
What's going to be on your table tonight???
I serve soup, chili or stew whenever I want..the temperature doesn't really bother me too much (we have air conditioning!! :newwink: )
Pasta primavera with shrimp

LOL... I enjoy reading a daily dinner poll, it's a good way to get idea's for something different to make for my own dinner. :) It's also a good way to get/exchange recipes for something that might look good. As for what I'm having tonight... were going out for fast food (which is something we usually do every Wednesday night) so it's nice knowing that I don't have to worry about what to make.
I usually reserve the soups, chili and stew's for really cold day's. They are all good warm-up foods... kind of like drinking hot chocolate. LOL
Diane...
We're having broiled fish, bread, fruit, and some sort of veggie. I really do like this thread and I agree that it was getting too lengthy.

Tonight we are having fresh Ravioli with a mushroom spaghetti sauce, along with garlic toast.
As for chili's etc....usually when it is cold or when it is rainy.

Dh won't be eating with us tonight, so ds will probably have "fake" (Kraft) macaroni and cheese (he doesn't like the "real" stuff! LOL!), fish portions, peas and peaches.
Today was Hamburgers, curly fries and marinated grilled summer squash.

We are having grilled pork chops and mixed veggies. Dh will have mashed potatoes and gravy and a biscuit with his. I will have a small salad with mine.
BTW: Love this thread.
I was going to make pizza, but I forgot to make my crust! :( Si I threw some chicken breast in a baking dish and covered it with BBQ sauce. It's baking now and I have rice a roni cooking too. I'll ask the kids what kind of veggie they want and that will be that.
The temp. outside does determine whether or not I serve soups or chili. The colder the weather the more soups I make. The more stressed I am, the more creamed soups I make. :licklips:
