I worked very hard. The table was gorious. I purchased a oblong table cloth then realized that mom was leaving the table round. I simply pinned the cloth in the middle and made a table runner with the extras.

The menu came out cute, a rose and greenery border. I think they enjoyed the choices.

Everything was going great until 10 mins to serving chicken time, I opened the oven. The chicken was raw. I was crushed. Mom said, "Oh no, I forgot to tell you the oven doesnt set temperature right." I cranked the broiler on and 20 mins. later the chicken was done. (I microwaved two of the big breast.)

Dad asked me to hide the locket around mama's plate. I hide it in her napkin. She noticed it first thing. She really liked it.

All in all it was a good night. I am just exhausted today. Thank goodness we can take it easy tonight.

How sweet of you to do this for your mom and dad Kacee... I'm sure that all of your hard work was really appreciated. I'm glad everything turned out well and that your mom liked the locket. Now it's time for you to put your feet up and... relax. :)

Diane...

I just crashed last night. I went to bed at 6:45. Dh and DD seemed to manage by themselves. I was just exhausted and I haven't been feeling my best. I have a doctor's appt. on Monday. It appears that I have found a lump in my left breast. I know that this can't be happening with everything else going on. I pray that it is a harmone gland gone crazy. Till I get back from the doctor, my mind is playing terrible thoughts. I will keep up with my crazy schedule for as long as I can. I am feeling better this morning. The rest was good.

AnnW - The locket was a 10k gold with two hearts on etched on the front. Simple yet elegant. Dad was pleased and I let him pay me for it. (I didn't want to worry about cost, but I could tell it was important to dad)

He can't sign his name any more so he X'ed the card.

Now, if I can get my health figured out things will be great.

It sounds very pretty.
Do you drink alot of coffee, cokes, eat chocolate (anything with caffeine) those can create a lumpy breast. Good luck with the mammogram.

No, I don't do caffeine. I have been watching my weight. I can't figure this out. My harmone's maybe off. I started 3 days early this month and with the stress I am hoping this is the cause.

Just have to wait and see what the doctor says. Funny how the mind makes this scarier than I feel this is.

I know that I can count on y'all and my friends should this come out bad. I will keep you posted
