I was thinking of trying to cook the jagerschnitzel (sp) recipe tonight, but haven't went to the store to pick up what I need for it, so I don't know. Let me get back to you on this one.:D

I put on a big pot of soup after shlepping all over town looking for new end tables and a center island for the kitchen. It's cold and breezy. Northern part of state got snow and ice last night. Everywhere we went it was like no one had any heat on. Going to make a batch of corn muffins and call it supper.

Well I cooked another simple meal. The Dk's and I had chicken fingers in dinosaur shapes and fries.
Dh is working tonight from 6pm -6am, so it was just the dk's and me.

I also did a very rare thing and let them eat it in the living room while watching a movie..

Totally of topic but we had a great day. Did some shopping with my Mom, the I took my Ds's out sledding, a nice day here. only -5 degrees Celsius.

It was just my mom, dh and myself tonight so we decided Wendy's was a good place to eat. I had a baked potato with cheese/broccoli along with a little cup of there chili... but the chili was AWFUL, so I didn't eat it... but dh did. Ugh!!! 8o I like no cooking nights... :)

Okay, I did not get to the store, so we had soup and sandwiches.:D

We had some friends over and I fixed shrimp ****tail (yum), cheese stuffed pasta shells, breadsticks, spinich salad and pizza for the kids. We have been munching on pistachios too!!!!

I went thru a pistachio kick a couple weeks ago. I bought two 2 lb bags of pistachio kernels at Sam's within a weeks time! LOL!
