I know I am not the only parent out there with a colic baby. I have found the solution to fix the problem. What to know?

I didn't have any colicky babies but I had a good friends that did. Something that really helped them was making a cassette tape of a vacuum cleaner running. Whenever the baby got fussy they'd put that tape on and he would quiet down. Good luck to you.

Did you say you have the answer????

My first ds was somewhat colicky and we ran the vacuum - pretty much instant silence! LOL! We still laugh at how long that little Dirt Devil lasted when we would just let it sit there and run!! I have also heard to run water, have them lie under a ceiling fan and let them watch it, or place the car seat on top of a running dryer.....

Karla - That's why my friends made a tape of the vacuum, they were afraid that it would burn up the motor running it so often!! They could also turn it up or down that way!

My walking buddy uses a blow dryer. Course this is for her to block out her husband's snoring!! HEHEHHE. Maybe it could work for a colicky baby?????
