Okay, I know that this is really early in the morning, but I thought that I would go ahead and get it started. What is everyone having tonight?

We are having lasagna, green beans or corn, and garlic bread.

Ok, ya'lls turn!!!

Is that chili AND lasagna, like two separate dishes or chili MIXED with lasagna? If so, what's the recipe?

Take out night for us. We pick up something quick and eat with a group from church before classes. If I know ds he'll want pizza hut. I may pick up a ceasar salad for myself. The guys could eat pizza every day of the week. I need more variety. But it's definitely a "no cooking" night for me.

We are having sweet and sour chicken(crock pot), mashed potatoes, brocoloi and carrots.... First time making the sweet and sour chicken.found the recipe in my slow cooker cook book.
A nice warm meal for a cold snowy day, we are supossed to get over 6 cm of the white stuff :grimace:

At least the kids are excited for it, more sledding fun. I coould do without it, makes very hard to drive in.

Hope you all have a great day.

Its snowing here, so it is either left over pizza or if dh feels up to it, grilled steak with potatoes and corn.

Are you familiar with the humor columnist Dave Barry? Well, he is visiting us up here. He wrote an article about North Dakota debating a name change (to just "Dakota") and from the followup, he was invited to visit.

This ties in with dinner because, in honor of his visit, the city has organized a city-wide potluck, with half of the city assigned to bring a "hotdish" and the other half assigned to bring jello. I guess this type of "comfort" food is big up here!! Anyway, most of the hot dish recipes include velveeta, cream of mushroom soup, and tater tots!!! I couldn't bring myself to make one of those, so I made a turkey-poppyseed-noodle casserole to take. I haven't made it before and now realize it would have been vastly easier to make if I actually had leftover turkey available...

I'm sure I'll be using up my calorie allottment for the week tonight!
