anyone else do Family Game Night?

ds asked about doing it a few weeks ago, and since then Wed. night is our Family game night....after dinner we clear the table and play Chuts and ladders, Candy Land, and Monopoly Jr. which we all enjoy.....just curious to know how many others out there get the board games going one night a week or so...:)

We don't have a certain night set aside, but we do play games or do puzzles (100 piece kid ones) on a weekly basis. :) Dks got lots of new games for Christmas, so we stay busy. LOL!

We don't do it once a week, but we like Scrabble (you could do Scrabble Jr) and Yatzee. Trouble is also fun and mindless.

Scrabble Jr sounds good to me....hey I might become a better speller too...:lol: the kids love puzzels too....we only have those HUGE ones for the floor...:lol:....anyone remember "Green Ghost?" we loved that as a kid....

We try to do a family game night at least once or twice a month. It is hard to do since DH works 3 jobs right now.

We do read together everynight, and sometimes we just turn on the tunes and sing and dance to them, the kids just love it.

Once my DH 3rd job is done, we are hopeing to haev more family nights, the kids got a lot of games for xmas this year too, Monopoly Jr, frustration, Simon, Twister, and Scrabble Jr, just to name a few...


They are alot of fun to play and the kids have a blast especially when they beat us.
