ds asked me to look at something tonight....seems to be a pimple or blemish on his testicle....should I have him seen by a doctor...or is this fairly common? it did look like just a pimple and dh said the same thing..

I'm no authority ;) but I do think it's possible to get one there. Does it look infected or is it painful? I'm from the "better safe than sorry" school, so I'd probably take him to the doctor.

I think I might wait a couple of days to see what it does before I go rushing off to the office. And they can get pimples there, just like you can get them on your behind.

I would at least call the doctor, but not take him in unless the doc says you should.

One of my day care kids had one on his once and we just waited and kept an eye on it... and it went away as fast as it came. :) I'd watch it for a while and if it seems to be getting worse then I'd get him in...

well, this mornings inspection of the site...:lol: seems to have gone down in size and looks to be going away.....too funny having me inspect him....funny while I was looking there...I noticed peach fuzz.....it was all I could do not to cry...my baby is growing up.....;)

Yea, I got that shock when ds had his hernia. He was in alot of pain but for days wouldn't let me look. When I finally insisted I knew why he hadn't wanted me to look. Things were way different than the last time I pulled off a tick.

They do get pimples there too.
