Morning! My girlfriend and I had lots of fun last night. She had a nice suprise when she called to check on the kids after the show...her dh was home!!! He travels and has been gone since Jan 3 and wasn't expected back till late next week. She was in a BIG hurry to get home!!!!! :brow:

My guys left early this am to go on the boy scout trip. DS had a good day yesterday, and no coughing last night, so they decided to go. I am glad. This trip is a huge reward for all the hardwork they have done..he has finished both first class and second.

DD and I are going out to dinner to night with another mom and her dd. This mom's mom has been in the hospital since October and she has been spending every evening with her, working full time and trying to deal with her kids. Her guys are on this trip too.

Good Morning all!!

Lazy morning starting here. Kids are planted in front of the tv.

Last night I bowled over my average each game. My first game I even bowled a 155!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My highest ever!!

Dh ended up coming home early yesterday cause he thought he was going to throw up. The doctor put him on new medicine and if this doesn't work he'll have to go to a specialist. I kind of hope that's what happens. Some people have been telling us that our doctor is a pill-pusher (likes to prescribe medicine) and we should get a second opinion. Dh lost another 5 pounds he's down to 132 and he's 5' 6" tall!! He's all skin and bones!8o I'm afraid he's withering away to nothing!

I woke up still with a sore throat this morning. I felt fine until we went bowling last night and all the smoke in the alley made my throat hurt. It feels better now, but still hurts some.

Need to get busy on housework. Have a great day all!!

I've had a semi-lazy start to my day as well. DH took ds and a friend snowboarding to a local ski hill and I slept til 9:23! Did some laundry and some vacuuming. Going to BIL's for dinner tonight. Have to go to Chapters and Sears this aft. Beautiful weather here in southern Ontario today...will try to enjoy it. Have a good day everyone!

Ds got 3rd in the Pinewood Derby today! We're so thrilled - y'all don't know how many years he's come in last. As we were walking over to the school, dh and ds were talking about the trophys. Dh said he only saw three, and ds said "Dad, there are about 5 boxes of those Good Try trophies, and one of 'em has my name on it". We were ROFL!

I'm having another major allergy attack from putting all the Christmas boxes up in the attic yesterday.

Insurance???? What's that??? LOL We haven't been able to afford insurance on our own and neither of our employers provide it. We have the kids covered through a state program for people who can't afford insurance themselves, but don't qualify for medicaid either.
