DS has Croup.

DS has been up all night coughing. His peak flow is no at 125, it's usually 300's. And he sounds like a seal. :\ I think it's an elaborate plan to get out of CCD class.

He gets this once every winter season. Makes me a little crazy because he is fine by 9am and I bring him to the dr.s and they say he is fine, then that night it starts up again. Augh!! And I have a wicked headache.:(

Sorry your DS is sick Linda, and that you had such a rough night.

Croup is always worse at night time. My oldest DS never got it, but youngest DS used to get it when he was younger.

I found that have a window open in his room at night time really helped.

Try and get a nap in today (for both of you)

funny to see this post....ds has the coughing of a seal today and last night.....I am positive its croup too....oh happy day...NOT:( hang in there...

Dd had croup at 8 months, and it was scary.

three out of four of us are sick. ds still has croup, told him he is to old for it, he's 7 1/2. DD has a sore throat but she can still scream at her brother. And I just feel horrible. I slept on the couch last night so at least I slept through the night.

payback for dh having a night job for the past 6 years. He got to get up with ds last night.

My ds came down with chronic croup at the age of 11!!!!!!
