well, my SIL called me on Thrusday night...after they saw the doctor....since the masses are still growning we all expected this doctor to start BIL on a Chemo regiment...well...they got the go ahead to go to Florida....so they left on Sunday morning....I am starting to think that maybe my BIL has decided not to go for the Chemo...just not telling anyone....SIL sounded like she didn't want to go...but what could she say....it was a sad goodbye for all of us....I will miss them....they won't be back until april....YIKES....well...I am praying that he feel great while he is there and that they can have some fun and create more wonderful memories.....thanks for letting me come here and vent....I miss them...and feel like I have been abandoned a little...oooohhh pity me.... ok I am done....thanks again...:tinysmile

Renee...actually I think it is wonderful that they went away. Like you said, hopefully they will have a wonderful time and have some fabulous memories.
Do you really think your BIL has decided not to do any treatment? Maybe he just wanted to go away, "forget" everything for a little while, and be all rested up to do treatments when he gets back ?
Sorry that you are missing them, but I'm sure you'll be in touch with them.
by the way....you can vent any time!

I'm also glad to hear that they went but... I'm also wondering about the chemo. Would't they have wanted to start it soon and not wait until April? Seem's kind of strange to me.
Sorry that you're missing them... but I'm sure you'll find a lot of other things to keep yourself busy. LOL You take care... :)

You're right Renee... it's his choice and he's definitely got to do what he wants to do. :) I hope that everything works out well for them... and that they have a BLAST while they're in Florida... They deserve it!
