Well I was down to 179 but now am over 200 so I figure I am just going to post my weight daily and whether anyone reads it or not I think I will feel accountable. Think I will just edit this post each day.

179... WOW! That is quite an accomplishment Mr. Jeff!
I'd just focus on making steady progress. No need to hit a home run. Just try to drop a couple of pounds per week and your fluctuations won't be as severe.
I'll never forget what my Home Ec teacher told me. Weight you put on fast... you tend to drop fast. Weight you take off fast... you tend to put on fast. The body just seems to have this thermostat of weight and likes to stay within a few pounds. Subtle drops dont' seem to bother it too much though.
I'm proud of you for your efforts though. Just getting under 200 is a major hurdle. You and I just need to set our sites for the final mile!

Best of luck to you! As Brichard says, it will happen!!! It just takes time... at least that's what I'm telling myself!!!!!! I've also decided I'm not going to go by weight, but rather by how my clothes fit!!!
Again, good luck! (I'm not going to say how much I way!!) :lol:

Sorry, Jeff...I do know how hard it is.
That would be good to post daily. And I would definitely take measurements. I was on one of my many diet programs once and while I thought I was doing everything right, I wasn't losing the weight--they started measuring me and you could see the difference in inches even when the scale wasn't moving as much as I expected or hoped. It was encouraging and helped to keep me motivated.
