Well it's a dreary cape morning here. We are going to get rain, rain, rain today while the rest of Massachusetts is getting snow. Bummer for the kids.
DD has strept so I can't go to work again. Augh!!!! Everyone is sick because of the weather. The pediatrician yesterday said in a usual week 10 percent of the strept test come back positive. In the past two weeks it's been 75-80 percent. Yuck!!!
So dd is filling out her valentines today. I mentioned it at 7am and ds has his done and dd almost has hers done. So much for keeping her busy today.
Hope you all have a great day!!!

Ds is off to school and dd and I are watching tv in our jammies. I need to get to the store for milk and some more valentine bags. I finished all the laundry yesterday and I'm hoping Brichard will put it all away.
Rain, rain, go away.......
It's beauty day today!!! Getting highlights..I am going a little redder and then off to get my nails done.
It's supposed to rain this afternoon and go from 75 this to 50 by this afternoon.

Linda, I hope everyone is feeling better soon.
Angie, if Brichard puts away your laundry, can you send him to my house to do mine?
Ann, have fun getting your hair and nails done. Sounds like a great day to me ;)
Renee, enjoy the play dough, hot wheels and barbies :)
Sheila, have a little chocolate...that always helps with PMS.
We are having a huge snow storm right now. I went to work this morning, and it took me 30 minutes instead of the usual 10 minutes that it should have taken me.
Stopped and picked up some groceries, all my afternoon and evening meetings have been cancelled because of the weather :yippee: so now I am home, going to do laundry, go on the treadmill.
I will probably pick up the kids a little earlier from school because the roads are already terrible and they are calling for freezing rain on top of the 15 cm that we are expecting :\

Well have daycare kiddies here today. One daycare kid is here who is usually in school but he has no school today( he goes to the catholic school) my DS is in school today and he was mad that he had to go when his friend didn't. No school tomorrow though it is a pro D day.
I have tons more laundry to do, was going to do it yesterday but it never got done, was busy running Daycare kids around to school and Preschool.
It snowed here all last night, so shovelling needs to be done to but that will have to wait till daycare kids get picked up cause no one brought snowpants or mitts today. :grimace:
Maybe we will do some valentines crafts today. Then at 4 my dk's and one of my Daycare kids are invited to a B day party(it is the party of one of my part time DC Kids, he is going to be 3)So I will take all the daycare with me to McDonalds get the ones that are not invited some fries and juice and the parents are going to pick them up from there. Some were not invited because they are alot older than the B day boy and one he has never met before, she just started this month.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
Oh, I also have to deliver Avon orders tonight after the party.

We have a snow day!!!!!!!!!!!!:happydnc: :happydnc:
I'm not sure how much snow we got but I'm not complaining. Dh came home last night because he didn't think the storm was going to produce much but he can't get into work today. I told him he should of stayed with my sister but since he hasn't been feeling well he didn't feel real comfortable there.
So for the first time in,well I guess forever, the whole family is home for snow day.
This cough is driving me nuts!! I did make some cookies this morning and started reading a new book. I'll work on lesson plans this afternoon I suppose.
It's so nice to not have to do anything or go anywhere. Maybe I'll even feel like finishing the laundry. :)

My dds had a snow day too. I was scheduled to have a training day at work, but because of the weather, they cancelled all the trainings (YAHOO!!). So I got some work done in my classroom, and my supervisor sent me home early (with all the paperwork that I still need to do!). After another cup of coffee, I need to get to that.....or maybe a snack........or a couple of chapters of my book.......I HATE paperwork!! It's a nice bonus though, to have an afternoon with no meetings.
Hang in there with your dks, Renee. I know snow days are brutal for parents. I had my dd yelling at me on the phone, because I said she couldn't go anywhere that required a car. (The roads are really bad.) They feel that they should be entertained. Umm, do I look like Walt Disney????

Oldest ds is at preschool and youngest is napping. It's snowing here, but not enough for any school delays or cancellations. :\
I went to take ds to preschool today and the Explorer wouldn't start!! 8o Called my bil and dh. It would sound like it was going to start, but I needed to give it gas and if I let my foot off it would die. I tried a few times in a 45 minute period and then all of a sudden one time it started. ?( I got ds to preschool late and just left it running until I got home. I think it needs to go in, but I am going to make dh call.
Went into my hairdresser's and it was 80, walked out and hour and half later and it was 52!!!!!!!!!! brrrrrr
