We are buying one. Any thoughts on what you like and don't like and the brand you bought or wanted to buy. I think we have covered all the bases and haven't found one we like, but MAYBE there is still one out there hiding from our scrunity.

The only advice I have is to get one that is front/back and not side/side. I love my double stroller but it is nothing fancy. I think it is a graco? I like the fact that it can be two seats, or one seat and one infant seat, or one long bed. I wish I had gotten it with our first instead of waiting until our second child!

oh Jeff...I loved mine too...got it at Wal-Mart on line noless...back when we lived in New Jersey (no walmarts there):\ it was about $109.00, I too think it was a Craco....front to front....kid looks at other kids head....LOL...did some research for those side by side ones and they are harder to manuver....let us know what you decide....you can always search Walmart.com or Craco.com...Good luck...

again...I remember the freedom I felt when I got mine....:tinysmile

Those side by side models don't fit well through doorways...and aisles. We had a Graco front/back model....LOVED IT! It wasn't "designed" to hold our infant carseat/carrier...but we found that it worked well if we placed it in the back seat of the stroller!!! An added bonus!

I guess I am the odd man here. I originally had a tandem stroller (in a row), when my youngest DS was born. I hated it. I found it very awkward to maneouver especially because I wanted the baby closest to me...oldest DS was in front, making the stroller difficult to push because of the weight .

I then bought a Graco side by side. I absolutely loved it. It was a joy to push, both sides reclined individually. Although it was wider, it was no problem to fit through the doorways.

Different strokes for different folks I guess :)

Marla you are not alone. I had a double stroller that was in line and I had problems too. I wanted the baby closest to me but then it was hard to steer with more weight up front. Dd was just over two when I had ds and I wish I had tried the stroller with the hot seat in the back instead of the double stroller.

We have a Graco front/back one - sounds like the one Angie described. The only thing I wish ours had was the "visor" part over the top that could shield sun for both seats. Ours was just in the back and didn't go far enough to the front to really do much for the child in the front....not good in Florida! LOL!

This was from some time ago but thanks for all your responses. We finally got a double stroller (side-by-side). We've now got everything ready except the kid LOL.

Sorry that I can't remember Jeff (old age 8o)... but when is the baby due? I'll bet you are all getting excited for the big day! :yippee: Make sure that you let us know when it happens... :)

Oh yeah... I'm glad you found a stroller!!! I had a front/back one that I used for my dck's and it worked beautifully. I also had a side by side one that worked well... but I wasn't going in/out of a lot of doorway's to really know if it was a problem or not. Hope your's works out well for you. ;)
