View Full Version : ARRRRRGgggggggggggg....the sound of me pulling my hair out!!!!!!

Well, my brand new computer desk was deliver today and it DOESN'T FIT!!!!!!!!! it is a 3 piece corner unit and it's too big. The sales lady totally screwed up the measurements! I didn't accept delivery for one side (did make it look just a tad lopsided! LOL) and dh walked in, took one look and said "send it back"

I hate when things come and they are WRONG.....try to look on the bright side if you can, when you do get the one you want it will look FABULOUS...

P.S. so your bald and whinny?

That can be disappointing... especially if you've been waiting a while to get it. I hope you'll be able to find something that fits... and you won't have to wait forever to get it. Where did you order it from? When I first got my new desk (HOM) I had ordered a top piece with shelves going all the way around. It wasn't until we got it in the office that we realized that the top piece was way too high. We ended up keeping the bottom desk but I was really disappointed about not being able to keep the upper part. It would have looked a lot better, plus I really could have used the extra space for books/storage. I hope you can find a replacement that you like... and maybe you'll end up liking it even better than the one you had to send back. :) Good luck!

Thanks. Of course dh is laughing cause he thinks the card table that we were using was just fine in the first place!!! LOL

We bought it from a furniture store here. The sales lady is going to come out Wednesday and measure my space and see what they have.

go ahead and put on your sweater, so you have acne, a bald head and the whinny syndrome...LOL...I bet the card table looks great too....hey lots of leg room....

Cold here again, Hey, at least I get to wear big sweaters, I can concentrate on losing more weight in the spring...LOL....

I know, I have a picture of Shirly McLain, in Steel Magnoilia, Weezer.....with that dog who was loosing his hair.....LOL...Never our AnnW....she is too put together I know....just teasing her a bit....

I bet her house is looking Fabulous....I am so jealous....
