Hi all. Well, my mom wanted me to take ds to a dr. of homeopathy to see if they could recommend ways to help ds with his chronic constipation. Sooooo, the dr. was in town today and I took ds. She has recommened 13 different "things" ds take to help his overall health/wellbeing. I am giving this a try, but have never really thought much about this way of keeping healthy.
Has/does anyone use homeopathic treatment in any way?
BTW....this all cost a small fortune! 8o But I am hoping it will help ds in the long run.
:)
is the doc a D.O. or what? What does she/he rec?

Darlene, I've never been, but my cousin and a friend were impressed with it--they went to two different people, but I don't think either were M.D.s.

What is D.O. ?
She has started him on......belladonna, baryta carb, psocinum, pulsatilla, sulfer, calc carb, colubrina, bryonia, china dox, mag carb, cuprum, streptococinum, rhas tox....all taken at different times on a rotating schedule.
I have been searching this names out on the computer....some of them sound really weird!
I sure hope we are doing the right thing for ds!

I have used ocsillium (sp?) for flu. It works really well. I haven't really tried anything else. The ocsillium can be bought at Meijers and pharmacies now. My mom uses lots of homeopathic remedies and seems to think they are great. It's good that you are researching the things the person suggested though. Make sure you know what they do and any side effects or contraidictions.
