Anyone into it?

I imagine that if I read some stuff about it, I'd probably never buy anything BUT organic...just wondering if you've tried it, if it tastes good and if it's really that much better for you.

It is expensive! LOL! I might give it a try for some things and see if I like it. And I've never had a garden, but I might try it this year. Thanks, Renee!

I have a friend who says there is nothing like an organic banana.
She says that her kids can actually tell the difference because the organic ones are sweeter.

I haven't really bought any organic stuff (it is very costly), but I think I am going to buy some things to give it a try.

There is definately like home grown vegetables...I have had a veggie garden for the last few years....my best grower is tomatoes and wow....once you have an organic home grown tomato....they are unbelievably sweet :licklips: ....you definately miss them during the year

Marla, we bought organic bananas yesterday and ds is loving them! I don't eat tomatoes, but I've heard that same thing about home grown ones. I'll have to give a garden a try for sure!

OK, I replied to this this morning, where did it go??

Mickey I try to buy organic produce as much as possible. Especially root vegetables like potatoes, onions, carrots, anything grown in the ground. Also, anything where you consume the skin (ie apples, grapes, peaches). I bought broccoli for the first time the other day and the taste was incredible, so fresh.

They are more expensive but a far healthier alternative I think.

Oooohhhh yeah..... :licklips:
Dd will go to the garden just to eat!
Peas are the same - she'll shell peas and eat them while standing in the garden. She won't touch a pea the rest of the year.
