I am giving a birthday party for my son at home (6 yo). There will be 10 kids, 6-8 adults, and 2-3 babies. We have about 6 chairs plus the couch. How have others arranged seating for a big party?

Thanks

At our house, it's whoever gets a seat, gets a seat! :)
I've found the kids sit on the floor, if they sit at all - that is for games or presents..... for cake, I have brought in dd's picinic table, brought down her play table and chairs and even borrowed children's chairs from friends if needed. We are getting away from the big parties we used to have (15 kids - and that's when they were young enough that the parents stayed )
Also, I don't include family with the kids at the party anymore.
Dd didn't give them much attention and it was just too darn many bodies in the house! :)

You might want to check with your local party rental shop.
Chairs should not cost more than $2 to rent. Get 3 or 4 chairs just in case.

Or you can have a Safari party and have the kids all sit on the floor.
