View Full Version : Shower Curtain or Doors?
just wondering what everyone has and if they are happy with them....I love shower Curtains....Hate doors...probably because its hard to bath the littlone with the door runners...LOL..JMHO....oh and I can't seem to keep them looking nice... don't tell...
One of each, but the shower is just a shower. In our old house we had the doors on the tub..hated them for the same reason.
We have had both- just depends on the house and where we lived.
I prefer curtains, as I find they are easier to keep clean and they can make a bathroom bright a cheery! :)
I've got a glass door on the shower, which I spray with one of those clean shower type products after every shower. My shower is separate from the tub which doesn't need a curtain or door. I don't like doors on the tub because it just seems more difficult to clean and harder to give the kids a bath.

We have both. One of our showers though is just a shower and like Sheryl the tub in there is separate and doesn't need anything. Dh's bath has a curtain and so does the main floor bath, but we have never used that one.
We have a seperate shower with pretty curtains and then a big garden type jacuzzi tub in a bay window area with just a window topper and tall shrubs outside.

Both tubs have plastic shower curtains, they need to be replaced very soon, getting kinda grungy looking even when I clean them.
Wouldn't want doors either, since it would be hard to bath the kids and the dog...lol

2 doors, one curtain. I like the curtain in Monkey's bathroom for the reason you mentioned, Renee. The door in the master bedroom has tracks (and I don't like it) and the bathroom downstairs doesn't have tracks (and I like that one better).

My stall shower has a glass door. The other bathtubs have a rod and a curtain.

Dk's bathroom has a tub with a shower curtain...love it for the kids. Our bathroom has a jacuzzi tub (no curtain) and a seperate shower stall with a shower door. I also use that stuff that you spray on after each shower, and it does seem to help.

we keep curtains, because I am afraid of the kids pinching fingers in the doors.... plus the curtains you can just toss when the get real grungy looking and get a new one at walmart for less than a dollar. (cheaper than your cleaning products)
